 @HoneyBrown1976 Corned beef and cabbage is something that Irish-Americans made popular, but way before that, coastal cities, like Dublin, Belfast, and Cork, had vast beef curing and packing industries. Corned beef production was also prevalent during the Irish Famine (to be made in Ireland, and shipped to England)

Corned beef is not Irish-American. It's Jewish-American due to the delis that Irish immigrants frequented when they came to America.
