Creamy, Cozy, and Sweet: This 4-Ingredient Pecan Pie Nut Butter Is the Ultimate Snack Spread

If you've ever felt slightly swindled while shopping for a peanut butter alternative that doesn't cost the same amount as a weeknight dinner for four, this homemade pecan pie butter is here to soothe your wallet and your taste buds. In an Instagram post on Dec. 3, cookbook author Liz Moody shared her recipe for the 4-ingredient treat, which only calls for pecans, salt, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Plus, it's ready in five minutes — all you need is a food processor.

"I like to eat it with apples, spread some on sourdough toast, and even use it to make my famous Best Healthy Cookies," Liz captioned the recipe video. "Basically, it turns everything it touches to gold." Liz also mentioned that the spread makes an amazing homemade gift for holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. All you have to do is pop it in a cute jar, tie a decorative ribbon around the lid, and gift away!
