Aside from the jaw-dropping overtime moment we saw this year, many would argue that the commercials are the most exciting part of the Super Bowl. However, with everything that has gone on politically in our country over the last few months, Fox said all ads must refrain from sending a political message. One ad in particular was deemed "too controversial" to appear in its entirety during the game because it showed a mother and daughter attempting to immigrate to the United States.

84 Lumber, a building materials company based in Pennsylvania and the creator of this advertisement, was only able to air the beginning portion of the ad, cutting out the actual wall from the story. Although the ad is incredibly emotional, it's the portrayal of President Donald Trump's executive order to build a wall between Mexico and the United States that drew up a lot of criticism. While some people saw the advertisement as a promotion of illegal immigration, others applauded the company's message that appears at the end, "The will to succeed is always welcome here."

The controversial ad has since gone viral after viewers were directed to the 84 Lumber website to see the full story of this mother and daughter's immigration journey, which can be seen in the video above. The emotional ad has left many wondering who this company is. Check out some interesting facts about 84 Lumber below.
