Award season got off to a good start with the 2013 People's Choice Awards in LA on Wednesday night. The show was full of big wins, plus plenty of laughs from host Kaley Cuoco and some of her celebrity pals. Jennifer Aniston won favorite comedic movie actress, while Jennifer Lawrence took home favorite dramatic movie actress for The Hunger Games, and the film itself picked up best movie and favorite action movie. The Wanted surprisingly beat out One Direction and Carly Rae Jepsen for favorite breakout artist, and Sandra Bullock was honored for her humanitarian work in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Sandra teared up while receiving her award, mentioning that the number one reason she loves NOLA is because of "a little sick boy at home who is my man," referring to her son Louis. There were many more statues handed out, so make sure to check out all the People's Choice Award winners.
Other notable moments from the award show included Happy Endings star Carly Wilson claiming Ian Somerhalder as her boyfriend, Adam Sandler inviting the audience over to Jennifer Aniston's house for pizza, and Jennifer Lawrence declaring that she wishes she was in Mean Girls so she could break her award and hand pieces out to everyone in the audience. There were also performances by Alicia Keys, Jason Aldean, and Christina Aguilera. Naomi Watts stunned in a glamorous gold and black number, and Heidi Klum showed off her legs in a black gown with a daring slit. Ian Somerhalder, Eddie Redmayne, and Chris Colfer were looking dapper as well. Tonight's People's Choice Awards host is looking pretty in pink. Kaley Cuoco hit the red carpet in a lovely petal-pink confection with a diaphanous sheer overlay that only furthered the girlie effect of her look. In fact, right down to her pink satin heels, Kaley played into the sweet vibe, finishing the look with soft waves and a pink pout to match her dress. Stay tuned — this is just the first look from the hostess tonight, who's expected to hit the stage in six dresses. Now tell us: what do you think of Kaley's girlie-girl arrival ensemble?

Kaley Cuoco walked the red carpet at this evening's People's Choice Awards in LA in a short pink Christian Siriano dress. She's the host of tonight's event, and we chatted with her at rehearsals, where she joked that she's been prepping for the part by eating cake. Kaley actually hosted last year and showed off multiple looks on stage, and she shared that she has plans for different outfits tonight as well. Kaley's pulling double duty since she's also a nominee for her work on The Big Bang Theory, and the show is up for an award as well. We're LIVE on the red carpet so make sure to watch now!
Kaley Cuoco will host tonight's People's Choice Awards, her second time having the honor. The actress currently stars on The Big Bang Theory, which is nominated for favorite TV comedy. Kaley and costar Jim Parsons also racked up solo nominations. We met up with Kaley at the Nokia Theatre in downtown LA while she was rehearsing for the big night. Kaley talked candidly about the lessons she learned hosting last year and how she plans to prepare this time around.
Tonight, check back to PopSugar as we go LIVE from the People's Choice Awards red carpet starting at 7:30 p.m. EST/4:30 p.m. PST.
And now at 26, Kaley is Proactiv's latest spokesperson. She counts the brand's Daily Protection Plus Sunscreen SPF 30 as a favorite, along with Sachajuan Volume Powder, Josie Maran Argan Balm, and Hourglass Powder as her makeup-bag staples. A good attitude does wonders too. "I learned early on in this business that for every person who loves you, there are 10 who don't. I have many passions outside my work, and I think that's why I have maintained such a balanced life," Kaley explains.
As for season six of The Big Bang Theory, the CBS comedy in which she stars, expect the unexpected. She does reveal that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and her character, Penny, will work on their relationship. But when it comes to the similarities between the actress and the role she portrays, that's where a big line gets drawn into the sand. "The only thing I have in common with my character is that we both live next to other people," she quips.
Mint is making its rounds these days. Lindsay Lohan wore it to court recently, and last night Kaley Cuoco donned the pretty hue at The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' gala in LA. Instead of wearing a classic black blazer, the actress opted for A.L.C.'s mint blazer with contrasting black lapels. With such a statement jacket, Kaley was smart to keep the rest of her outfit — including a Jennifer Meyer 'Sweetheart' necklace — simple. While a black blazer will serve you for way longer, it's so much more fun to throw on a colored jacket to top off all black. Since it's such a trend piece, here's a less expensive version you won't feel guilty spending money on. You can also wear your mint blazer to work with black trousers and a pencil skirt, or on the weekends with jeans and flats. Then come Spring, throw it on over a flirty floral frock or nude bandage dress.
Proving that she knows how to pull out all of the glamorous stops, Kaley Cuoco went for a Romona Keveza ball gown at the SAG Awards. The shape is kept flattering with a tightly draped bodice that provides a little relief from the featherlike tulle on her skirt. With such a big, romantic dress, it's important to maintain some balance, so Kaley skipped out on the accessories altogether and instead furthered the soft, deconstructed look of her ensemble with an oversized headband braid, made even more dreamy with lots of pulled-out tendrils. The only element with a little edge is her smoky eye makeup. Is this outfit a fairytale come true for you as well?
