Kaley Cuoco Says She Fell "Even More in Love" With Tom Pelphrey After Their Daughter Was Born

Kaley Cuoco balances her busy acting schedule with being a mom to her one child. The actor began her on-screen career in the 1990s, landing her first major role in the 2002 ABC sitcom "8 Simple Rules." The show came to an end in 2005, and Cuoco continued to appear in a number of popular shows at the time, including "Charmed" and the animated Disney series "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers." Arguably, she is most known for her role as Penny on "The Big Bang Theory," which spanned 12 seasons before it ended in 2019.
Most recently, Cuoco shared the screen with Pete Davidson in the 2022 Peacock rom-com "Meet Cute," and will star in the platform's comedy thriller series, "Based on a True Story," which hits the streamer on June 8.
Along with her film career, "The Flight Attendant" actor is a mom to her daughter, Matilda, whom she shares with partner Tom Pelphrey, known for Netflix's "Ozark" and "Max's "Love & Death." The couple first went public with their relationship in May 2022, and Cuoco announced her pregnancy on Instagram in October of that year, writing, "Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023💕 beyond blessed and over the moon… I 💓you @tommypelphrey !!!"
In March 2023, the two welcomed Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey into the world and are excitedly embracing the role of parents.

The couple's only daughter, Matilda, was born on March 30, 2023. Cuoco announced the news on Instagram, writing, "Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle 💓 Thank you to the doctors , nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief 💗 @tommypelphrey didn't think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did 💗."
Similarly, Pelphrey wrote in part on a separate Instagram post, "My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle…."
Given that Matilda is only a few months old, the couple are mainly focused on surrounding her with love and enjoying the early, special moments of parenthood.
