You’re Going to Flip When You See Laurie Hernandez's First Pitch at This NY Mets Game

Laurie Hernandez is stealing our hearts all over again, and this time it's not on a balance beam. On Sept. 3, the 16-year-old Team USA gymnast took her talents to the mound where she threw the first pitch at the New York Mets baseball game, proving once again she was born to be in gymnastics.

"Grateful I got to throw the first pitch at the NY Mets game today! (I'll just stay with gymnastics omg)," Laurie wrote on Instagram after she landed another gold medal-worthy flip in a personalized Mets jersey.

Aside from practicing her baseball skills, Laurie has been hard at work preparing for season 23 of Dancing With the Stars with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy, who was definitely a fan of her first pitch. "So proud!! Look at the bright side @50cent threw it worse," he wrote to his partner. "You're amazing. Congrats #teamvalaur #dwts."

After blowing us away in Rio and at the Mets game, we can't wait to see the moves that Laurie brings to the dance floor.
