This Mom Helped Her Child Post-Brain Surgery in a Way That Doctors Never Could

Since this little girl is her family's superhero as she battles cancer, it only made sense that her sidekick (aka her proud mom!) decided to get a haircut that matched her daughter's new scar.

After Faith endured surgery to remove a brain tumor that was pushing on her optic nerve and damaging her pituitary gland, she was upset when she realized that they had to shave off some of her hair. "Every superhero has a side kick who picks them up, dusts them off, and makes them feel stronger then ever," Love What Matters shared. "In true sidekick fashion Faith's mom, Jamie Dawn Beckstead, went home during a shift swap and came back looking just like Faith!"

Judging from the smile on the little girl's face and the love in her mother's eyes, it looks like Faith isn't the only superhero — her mom is equally strong and making a powerful impact on her daughter's recovery.
