Hey Democrats, get it together. That was Samantha Bee's message on Monday night. "Five weeks ago, the Democrats lost the presidential election, the Senate election, the House election, the Supreme Court, and the will to live," said the Full Frontal host before playing clips that show how Democrats are divided by people who say they lost the election by alienating white Americans and focusing on identity politics instead of talking about the economy.

Bee disagreed and explained how identity politics is crucial to 21st century politics (and humanity) and simply another term for "civil rights." She also strung together multiple clips of Hillary Clinton talking about job creation and wages to prove it was top of mind for Democrats. Still, that's apparently not enough for some Democrats who believe Republican claims that it's wrong to focus on identity politics and are stepping away from the party. "Stop it!" said Bee. "Come on, Democrats. There's losers' Stockholm syndrome and then there's taking your talking points from Steve Doocy and pals," she said, referring to Fox News hosts.

"Look, Democrats, I know you're having a rough time. You hate being lost in the wilderness," added Bee. "But if your panic over a loss makes you abandon both your principles and the people who actually vote for you, then you'll be in the wilderness for a decade — or until Trump's camp sells the wilderness to oil companies, so really, about a month. By all means, invite working-class white people to the party, but don't let them take over the DJ table."

In a separate segment from the Monday night show, Bee expertly took down the recently passed Ohio "heartbeat" bill that could ban abortion at as early as six weeks. "A restriction this early is about as illegal as crack," she said in the seven-minute clip. Watch it here.
