John McCain Perfectly Explains the Major Issue With Trump Calling the Press an "Enemy"

Senator John McCain issued a scary warning about President Donald Trump's feud with the media during a recent interview with MSNBC. When Meet the Press host Chuck Todd asked McCain about Trump's tweet that calls several media outlets "the enemy" of the American people, McCain responded, "We need a free press. We must have it. It's vital."

McCain also added that democracy in America can only be sustained if we have a press that is not suppressed by the government. "If you want to preserve democracy as we know it, you have to have a free press. Without it, I'm afraid that we would lose so much of our individual liberties over time," he said.
