Apple Changes Its Iconic White Logo to Red

Your eyes are not deceiving you — that's Apple's iconic logo coated in the color red. Stores in countries like Australia and Germany have already experienced the change, and others throughout the rest of Europe, Japan, China, and the US will follow suit . . . but just for today.

It's all to commemorate World AIDS Day, and the campaign is part of Apple's partnership with (RED), an organization that works to fight AIDS. This is the third year in a row Apple has changed its logo to raise awareness.

Apple is working with (RED) in other ways, too. A portion of the profits made from Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales will go to the cause, and from now until Dec. 7, all of the proceeds from certain apps will be donated.
