Nicole Scherzinger's new haircut has her feeling good. On Dec. 19, the "The Masked Singer" judge used a dramatic TikTok transition to debut her voluminous bob on social media.

Scherzinger began her video, which she shared on TikTok and Instagram, with a bare face and long, straight hair. Then, in the next shot, she clapped to reveal her newly cut bob and a full face of makeup, including flawless matte foundation, filled-in eyebrows, and a subtle smoky eye with lashes. She styled her new haircut with a dramatic side part and bouncy, Old Hollywood curls, while Jessie J's rendition of "(I Got You) I Feel Good" played in the background.

While Scherzinger has rocked a bob before back in 2019, her new soft, layered iteration added a little spice to the timeless yet trendy style. The musician and live-TV host isn't the first celebrity to go short this season. Most notably, Zendaya revealed a chin-length bob alongside her "Euphoria" castmates at an FYC event on Dec. 18. Demi Lovato also went shorter, opting for a bixie cut, which she debuted at the 2022 UNICEF gala on Nov. 29, and Ciara showed off her new shoulder-length shag on Instagram on Nov. 22.

Going short doesn't have to be a seasonal affair, but colder temperatures and winter beauty trends might encourage people to forgo length for healthier hair that stays out of the way. A dramatic hair transformation is also a great way to head into the new year with a fresh start. Especially if, like the bob, your dream hairstyle is on the list of 2023 haircut trends to watch.
