Demi Lovato Debuts "Bixie" Haircut at UNICEF Gala

Demi Lovato attended the 2022 UNICEF Gala in New York City on Nov. 29 with a whole new look. The singer arrived on the red carpet wearing the ever-popular "bixie" haircut, which suited her, and the Hellessy black and white gown she was wearing, perfectly. Styled by celebrity hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez, Lovato's hair was chopped into a pixie cut-bob hybrid with long, eyelash-grazing bangs in the front and very little length in the back.

Ramirez shared a close-up of Lovato's look on Instagram captioning it "Loving this length." Before this, her hair was shoulder-length with side bangs and a shag cut. Though this "bixie" is quite the change from the style they were spotted in just earlier this month, it's very on-brand for the star given her extensive history of edgy looks. Over the years, Lovato has worn everything from a blond pixie haircut in 2020 (which they later dyed pink) to a mullet haircut at the beginning of 2021 and a buzzcut not long after that. And those are just her hair changes from the past few years.

For the UNICEF gala, celebrity makeup artist Jill Powell finished off Lovato's look with "natural glowing glam," according to her Instagram caption. The super-short haircut combined with the strapless gown put Lovato's stunning tattoo collection on full display.
