The A-List Cast of Little Women Makes Our Hearts Race in Stunning Movie Posters

Columbia Pictures

The latest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women won't drop until Christmas Day, but every look at the upcoming film fills us with anticipation. While most of us are still swooning over the gorgeous trailer that shows off the star-studded cast assembled by Oscar-nominated director Greta Gerwig, character posters have been released that give another look at the actors bringing the March sisters' story to life.

Just like the seminal 1868 novel — and the six films, TV musicals, plays, and even one opera — the film follows four sisters who live with their mother, Marmee March (Laura Dern), in Massachusetts during the Civil War era. Amy (Florence Pugh), Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Beth (Eliza Scanlen), and Meg (Emma Watson) come of age together while experiencing life's highs and lows — love and loss, success and failure, birth and death. The posters ahead feature the March sisters and their mother, as well as Meryl Streep as Aunt Josephine and Timothée Chalamet as Laurie, the swoon-worthy neighbor whose relationship with Jo goes on to shape many of their major life decisions.

Check out the stunning character images ahead, as well the movie's main poster, and get ready to dive back into the lives of the March sisters when Little Women releases on Christmas Day!
