This week, we got a cryptic new look at the rest of The Walking Dead's seventh season. In a large handful of photos posted to the show's official Facebook page, we get an up-close look at a bunch of seemingly innocuous objects: a big hole, a bunch of rubber ducks, a handful of peanuts, the list goes on. There is, of course, the chance that AMC is giving us very subtle hints about what's to come, but considering how the show frustratingly tells one story per episode and teased Glenn's dumpster death for weeks, we wouldn't be surprised if this was just some light fun at our expense. Since we have the distinct feeling we're getting trolled, we thought we'd have some of our own fun in trying to "interpret" them.
Um, hello? Excuse me? Is this the Boulevard of Broken Dreams?
Looks like Rick will really cement his bond with The Kingdom and Hilltop, if you catch our drift.
This comes with "grave" insinuations. You know? YOU KNOW?
I guess it must be hammer time.
This is what it feels like to be on minute 89 of a very slow 90-minute episode of The Walking Dead.
Perhaps someone will . . . kick the bucket this season.
This is because Daryl and Carol simply cantaloupe while they're in two entirely different communities.
Someone's going to be caught red-handed, and not in a good way.
We'd make the obvious "thing are going to be nuts" joke, but we're trying to figure out more refined ways to crack your hard, unimpressed exterior.
Let's hope Negan didn't take all the batteries.
Oh look, Daryl got a new bike!
These are literally sitting ducks and we can't think of a more on-the-nose metaphor for Rick's weaponless community.
Either Eugene figured out how to make more than bullets, or someone has a line in on Wile E. Coyote's Acme contact.
