A new STEM show for kids just hit Netflix, and it's based off a bestselling children's book your family may already love: Ada Twist, Scientist. The series of the same name is executively produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, and features 8-year-old Ada, a curious budding scientist "who aspires to discover the truth about absolutely everything."
Throughout the series, Ada and her two best friends, Rosie Revere and Iggy Peck, will unravel and solve various scientific mysteries for their friends and families. "But solving the mystery is only the beginning, because science isn't just about learning how and why and what," reads the show's description. "It's about putting that knowledge into action to make the world a better place."
The animated show comes from Chris Nee, the creator of Disney's Doc McStuffins and Vampirina; as well as Netflix's musical series, We the People (also from the Obamas), and new preschool series, Ridley Jones.
