Regal Cinemas Is Helping Families Cool Off This Summer With $1 Screenings

Everett Collection

Hitting the beach or playing in the park is fun and all, but have you heard about sitting in an air-conditioned theater, snacking on some popcorn, and watching some classic animated flicks? Sometimes, that really does the trick when it's unbearably hot outside. To help families cool off indoors this Summer, Regal Cinemas is bringing back its Summer Movies Express program that allows families to watch select movies for just $1.

How does it work? Admission to G- and PG-rated movies will be $1 every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. from June 26 through Aug. 8. The announcement comes after Regal Cinemas recently announced it would be hosting sensory-friendly screenings for a number of new releases, including Incredibles 2, Hotel Transylvania 3, and Christopher Robin. Ahead, check out some of the movies that will be shown during Summer Movies Express!
