Tory Burch took the surfer girl to the country club for Spring '17. Two seemingly disparate worlds collided brilliantly on the runway with a polished take on bohemian prints, caftans, day dresses, and preppy essentials like the tennis skirts, printed pullovers, and sweet suiting. There were clever riffs on the California girls' puka shells and supersize pearls for the girlie girls. There's levity and playfulness, but the results aren't mocking either style camp; it's a celebration of each.
