You'll Be Inspired to Keep Going to Zumba After Hearing This Woman's Story

For many people, exercise is therapy. For Angelica Jimenez, Zumba is a lifesaver. The Marine Corps veteran nearly died in Afghanistan in 2005 from an attack by a suicide bomber, and she's still in the recovery process today. But she's also teaching a Zumba class in Emerson, NJ, and she says the dance class is the therapy she needed to get her life back on track. The classes have helped her "keep her strength and put a smile back on her face," CBS News reports.

Angelica isn't the only one who finds a significant mental and physical boost from Zumba — it's scientifically proven to make you happier. "This is the best therapy I could ever have," she said. Watch the inspiring video above to hear her full story.
