The 12 Funniest Food-Filled Super Bowl Ads

For us, Super Bowl Sunday may be synonymous with copious amounts of yummy food, but there's another part of the tradition that we look forward to year after year: those hysterical Super Bowl commercials! While some may have fallen short of our expectations, there are definitely a few that make us smile every time we watch. From brewskies to fast food to party snacks, take a comfy seat and prepare to laugh at 12 of the funniest food-filled ads that have aired on Super Bowl Sunday.

Taco Bell "We Are Young"

Who can forget 2013's Taco Bell "We Are Young" commercial? The band Fun. sings a Spanish version of their hit song as a bunch of old folks break out of their retirement home to party the night away.

Dannon "The Tease"

In the 2012 Dannon Oikos's "The Tease" commercial, John Stamos may think he can get away with anything, thanks to those gorgeous dimples, but this lady proves that's not the case.

Doritos "You Left the Best Part"

In the hysterical Doritos "You Left the Best Part" ad, an eager Doritos fan can't get enough of that cheesy powder. This is a must-watch commercial if you don't remember its magic from 2011.

Coca-Cola "Hard Times"

The Simpsons and Coca-Cola teamed up to create the sweet commercial "Hard Times" in 2010. The "evil" billionaire Montey Burns loses all his money but manages to connect with the common man through the joy of Coca-Cola.

Snickers "Betty White"

For me, Snickers' "Betty White" was hands down the best ad of the 2010 Super Bowl. Not only did Betty White and Abe Vigoda both make cameos, they get down and dirty in a serious football game. Betty White couldn't have been any cuter.

Heineken "Beer Run"

In 2005, on the cusp of his new relationship with Angelina Jolie, Brad took part in a Super Bowl commercial: Heineken's "Beer Run". The only thing that will quench Brad Pitt's thirst is a Heineken, but he's got to outsmart the paparazzi in order to get through the mission unscathed.

Pepsi "Magnetic Attraction"

In 2008, Pepsi took advantage of the adorable Justin Timberlake's popularity in its ad "Magnetic Attraction." JT is pulled all around the city, bumps into crazy places, sees Andy Samberg's bedroom shrine in his honor, and eventually meets up with some lovely ladies enjoying some refreshing Pepsi.

Budweiser “Wassup!”

Budweiser is definitely known for its presence on Super Bowl Sunday, but in 2000, its commercial
"Wassup!" turned into a pop culture catchphrase that people just could not get enough of.

McDonald's "Bears Love Fries"

The 2011 McDonald's "Bears Love Fries" was a sweet, memorable commercial. That baby bear was too cute, and his dad was right: there is always one more delicious fry at the bottom.

SoBe Life Water "Thrillicious"

SoBe Life Water's "Thrillicious" commercial in 2008 starred the beautiful Naomi Campbell hanging out with some crazy lizards, who get a taste of Life Water and break out into a big performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

Miller Lite "Evil Beaver"

In 1997, this weird commercial aired, and no one really knew what to make of it. Miller Lite's "Evil Beaver" first aired on Super Bowl Sunday, but a whole string of Beaver-inspired retro ads followed suit.

Wendy's "Where's the Beef?"

The cute old ladies from Wendy's "Where's the Beef?" commercial were propelled to superstardom in 1984 after their commercial aired during the Super Bowl. I've got an inkling that this lady would have been a serious YouTube sensation if the commercial had first aired in the last few years.
