When I Close My Eyes, I Dream of This Purple McDonald's Soft Serve in an Oreo Cone

When I close my eyes, it's all I can see: swirls of velvety, sweet, lilac-colored soft-serve nestled into a black cone. It's a mouthwatering vision straight out of a goth foodie's ultimate fantasy, and it actually exists IRL!

I'm talking, of course, about the purple sweet potato ice cream that McDonald's locations throughout Hong Kong serve in Oreo-flavored cones. While I've known about (and drooled over) international McDonald's locations offering Oreo cones for a while, imagining the aforementioned flavor of subtly sweet taro with the chocolaty richness of Oreo cookies is enough to make me book a flight to Hong Kong ASAP.
