Excuse Me?! Disney World's New Dole Whip Treat Is Made With Watermelon Syrup and Rum!

Pineapple Dole Whip has been a hit at Disney World all on its own for years now, so imagine how delighted I was to hear that the park is now serving up a new version of the treat that includes — wait for it — rum and watermelon syrup. Yes, in celebration of some of your favorite characters from The Lion King, Disney World took the its classic Dole Whip dessert and infused it with rum to make a treat called the King's Cooler.

Along with the rum-infused Dole Whip, the new addition is topped with a bright red syrup made of watermelon and coconut. You can find the King's Cooler — as well as a non-alcoholic version called Simba's Sunset — at Tamu Tamu in Animal Kingdom. Read ahead to see what it looks like IRL.
