Pacific Union Christie's International | Steven Gothelf

Mrs. Doubtfire has long been one of our favorite movies — we instantly fell in love with Robin Williams's character and his unwavering dedication to his family, while also admiring the stunning San Francisco home the Hillard family lived in. Now, we're thrilled to learn that the home where the 1993 movie was filmed is for sale, and it's even more beautiful than we remember.

The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home sits on 3,300 square feet in the prestigious and picturesque Pacific Heights neighborhood. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled, but the home maintains all the memories from the film. The 1893 Victorian house is going for $4.5 million, and it's perfect for a family moving to the Bay Area. Aside from its famous past, the home boasts an additional office/family room, an outdoor patio for gardening, a spacious basement for a home gym, and so much more. Williams won a much-deserved Golden Globe for the movie, and the new owner of 2640 Steiner St. will be a winner as well. Keep reading to see what the unforgettable house looks like in real life.
