Man's Best Man Steals the Show at This Wedding

When Justin Lansford got married, he had his two best friends by his side: his brand-new wife, Carol, and his dog, Gabe, as his best man. After losing his leg in Afghanistan in 2012, Justin returned home to be paired up with canine companion Gabe, who had recently graduated from the Warrior Canine Connection. Gabe's initial purpose was to assist with mobility for Justin, but he grew to become Justin's steadfast companion and emotional support system. Over the past couple years, the two guys, along with Justin's now-wife, Carol, have become a family, and the couple had no doubts about including Gabe in their big day this past weekend in Florida.

"He loves attention, and he will do anything for attention." Carol told Upworthy of Gabe's appearance in the wedding. "I know he was just in his glory."
