According to This Study, Hardly Anyone Is Reading on the Beach This Summer

When you're lying on the beach, toes in the sand and face in the sun (protected by sunscreen, of course), there's really nothing better than cracking open a good book while listening to the crashing of the waves. Shockingly, though, only 6 percent of bookworms are bringing their reads to the beach, according to a study done by Goodreads. Why, people, why?!

Another interesting outcome of the study: the paperback is NOT dead! Forty-eight percent of vacationers are still bringing paperbacks to their destinations versus ebooks (at 41 percent). Those digital reads are catching up quick, but it looks like the paper format isn't going anywhere. Check out the infographic below for more fascinating tidbits!
