Professional hair care brand KMS has recently gone through a dramatic rebranding, and if you were a fan of the brand before, you'll hardly recognize it now. Gone are the retro, brightly colored bottles in favor of a more simple and sophisticated appearance. But this isn't just a packaging redesign — the brand has reformulated every single one of their products, too.

Keeping style and trends at the heart, and inspired by four key cities (New York, London, Berlin, and Seoul), there's a product for every situation, whether you're in need of some added moisture, a frizz tamer, or a volume booster. I was lucky enough to be among the first to try these brand new products, and I discovered a whole host of new favorites. The best part? Everything is under $25!

KMS Thermashape Hot Flex Spray

The product: KMS Thermashape Hot Flex Spray ($23)

Why I love it: If you find that your curls never hold for more than a couple of hours, then this lightweight spray needs to be in your hair care arsenal. It contains a polymer that helps your hot tool create more defined shapes, but won't make your strands stiff, crunchy, or flat.

How to use it: Spray onto towel-dried hair, blow-dry, and create your curls with your favorite styling tool.

KMS Addvolume Texture Creme

The product: KMS Addvolume Texture Creme ($21)

Why I love it: Don't put off shampoo day in the name of full, voluminous texture. This formula features calcium sulfate, an ingredient which that adds life and grit to strands with just one pump.

How to use it: Pump a pea-sized dollop of product and emulsify in your hands. Work through towel-dried hair, and blow dry. To prevent buildup, avoid using too much creme in each styling session.

KMS Thermashape Quick Blow Dry

The product: KMS Thermashape Quick Blow Dry Quick Blow Dry ($23)

Why I love it: This product is an absolute essential on busy mornings. Thanks to an ingredient called methylal (which supports the evaporation of water), it cuts drying time by half, whether you are blow drying or air drying your hair. The spray also provides light conditioning benefits to reduce frizz.

How to use it: Shake well and spray onto towel-dried hair.

KMS Addvolume Liquid Dust

The product: KMS Addvolume Liquid Dust ($24)

Why I love it: This product provides amplified volume without leaving hair messy or chalky like a powder would. It contains polymers which produce a “velcro” effect and add body, but no grease or grit. Try it on lifeless bangs to give them a boost.

How to use it: Although it is advised to use the product on towel-dried hair before styling, I find it also works well as a pick-me-up if your look has fallen a bit flat throughout the day. Just add a little bit of product and reshape your style with your hands.

KMS Moistrepair Anti-Breakage Spray

The product: KMS Moistrepair Anti-Breakage Spray ($24)

Why I love it: If you can't get to the salon frequently enough but suffer from obvious damage and split ends, rely on this product to stretch your time between appointments. The lactic acid contained in the spray will help protect your hair and that appearance of a fresh trim will last longer.

How to use it: Spray onto towel-dried hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and the ends (you can also apply it directly to any damaged areas). Leave in and follow with styling.
