For a beauty junkie, few things are worse than having to apply your makeup in a crowded bathroom. Your makeup brushes and eyeliners inevitably fall into the sink and onto the floor, where they get wet and collect bacteria. One woman named Kari Koelsch complained about this very issue to her husband, Todd. After hearing her grievances, Todd decided to give her a superspecial surprise gift: her very own closet vanity.

While working on the project, Todd asked Kari not to look in the closet. When she couldn't wait any longer, she peeked inside and was stunned by what she saw. The gorgeous vanity area includes a pink striped wall, an overhead lamp, a giant lighted mirror, drawers, and a furry stool.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Kari explained her utter surprise. "I'm almost shocked that Todd came up with such a feminine design," she said. "He is a utility worker that's usually covered in mud. He's a big tough guy that wears work boots every day. I'm definitely surprised he thought of pink stripes."

Kari's sister Molly saw her new vanity area and was understandably jealous. She tweeted photos of the small room, including "I need a man like that!" in her caption. Her tweet went viral, and people couldn't stop talking about how incredible her brother-in-law is. Molly revealed to BuzzFeed Todd's reason for the romantic gesture: "He did it to make her happy and he loves making her happy."
