Is This Video a Sign of Reconciliation Between Jeffree Star and Kat Von D?

It's been over three months since the major falling out between makeup mavens Kat Von D and Jeffree Star. The pair have been pretty silent about the status of their friendship, but now, there could be signs of an upcoming reconciliation. In a new video on his channel — the first installment in a series of his tattoos' history — Jeffree spoke out about Kat.

"I would never disrespect Kat's art," he announced. "Even though we were friends for 10 years, you never know if you're going to wake up one morning and have your best friend back-stab you in front of the entire world and online," Jeffree acknowledged. "No matter what happened, no matter what she did to me . . . I respect her artwork, I think that she is one of the best portrait tattoo artists in the entire world . . . I am just blessed and honored to be covered by her work and I will never be ashamed of that."

From his neck down to his waistline, all but one of his designs was done by Kat. In fact, she has featured many of the pieces she created for Jeffree in all three of her New York Times bestselling books. Prefaced with the declaration of "no shade," Jeffree read her inscriptions to him in the front of a few of the texts and even got a little emotional.

"It's good to cherish memories and not focus on the negative," he pointed out. "Kat, if you are watching this, thank you for covering me in the most beautiful artwork I have ever seen, and I will always cherish these."

Though Jeffree was very complimentary, it's not certain that the former friends will reunite just yet. Kat hasn't acknowledged the video on Twitter, while Jeffree went on to add a few more comments:
