These days, beauty inspiration can come from anywhere, including the runway, YouTube, and your favorite street style stars. But our favorite way of gathering makeup ideas is Instagram, hands down. A scroll through your feed can inspire tons of fresh ways to play around with your look, whether it's a real-girl way of sporting an intimidating runway trend or just a creative way to apply a product. We took three of our favorite beauty trends that are everywhere on Instagram right now and are showing you how to achieve the same look step-by-step. #RedLips

Red lips are one of those beauty elements that work with any look and vibe, whether you're going fresh with a bare face or bold with a strong smoky eye. Keeping it simple with just a thin cat eye to keep the focus on the lips is always a winner on Instagram.

First, line your entire lips with a red lip liner. Using a formula that's rich in moisture will keep your lips hydrated. Next, apply a color-rich, long-lasting lipstick, and top it off with a lustrous lip gloss. You can dab the gloss on just the center of your bottom lip to add a touch of shine to your pout, or apply it all around for maximum impact.
