"When holiday shopping — wait! Christmas shopping! — for those I love, I always start off with the idea of having a budget. But that lasts about 30 seconds, and then I just go for it! It is important to know the difference between a gift and a present. Yes — there's a difference. A gift is more frivolous and simple, but a present is unique and takes a lot of love and thought. I always try and imagine what would make the person really happy — something they wouldn't buy for themselves, and something that is a true reflection of how I see them."
