Amy Schumer's Spoof on Child Beauty Pageants Is Hilarious

We have to admit — we've watched an embarrassing number of episodes of Toddlers and Tiaras. But not for the pageantry. No, we tune in because the world of child beauty pageants makes for excellent (albeit depressing) reality television. The mothers can't stop living vicariously through their children, who parade miserably across stages in spray tans and flippers (fake dental work to hide missing baby teeth, for the uninitiated). You just can't look away. Comedy goddess Amy Schumer is mocking these pageants in her latest video, "Babies and Bustiers."

Amy plays a toddler competing for the crown in the Little Miss Hot as Balls Pageant. The video opens on her and her competitors learning a highly sexualized dance routine and being commanded to smile ("big smiles . . . so much of a smile it hurts"). With huge, closer-to-god hair and lacquered-on makeup, Amy throws tantrums at pageant directors and her mother (a perfect Jennifer Coolidge) just like Honey Boo Boo — but her big finale is what really had us rolling.
