Chocolate Chip Cookie Hair Is the New Droolworthy Dye Trend
It doesn't surprise us at all that beauty trends and items are often related to food. Associating a product or color with something edible makes it all the more covetable. Think about it: there's the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, macaron hair, and a bevy of treat-inspired DIYs. The latest droolworthy trend is chocolate chip cookie hair, a delicious creation baked dreamed up by Ryan Pearl of Cutler Salon.
While you may have trouble visualizing this look, it's a blend of blond and brunette hues that melt into each other — just like a piping-hot cookie. "It's a much more interesting, fun, and relatable way to name a color than simply referring to it as 'warm or cold,'" Pearl explained to Mane Addicts.
To create the gorgeous shade, he paints ribbon-esque pieces of hair, starting his work on varying distances from the root to make it look more natural. "Then I paint a section of hair and blend in the ends of another section of hair as a way to accentuate POP," he said. He finishes the whole thing with a deep base and a glaze. Because the dye job appears so natural and effortless, it's the perfect look for the ultralow-maintenance girl. Read on to see more shots of the stunning style. Facebook
