Meet the Nonbinary Activist Fronting One of the Coolest New Beauty Brands

If you haven't tried out products from Fluide, a new gender-neutral makeup line, you are not living up to your peak glitter potential. The whimsical brand launched in February, and it's already killing the game with its lineup of cruelty-free liquid lipsticks, nontoxic nail polishes, and insanely pigmented powder eye shadows. I triple-dog-dare you not to smile upon first glance at Fluide's whimsical color scheme that includes electric blue, royal purple, and flamingo pink makeup. Go ahead, look at 'em — it's impossible not to fall in love with such vivid hues.

The only thing that could make me fall even more madly in love with Fluide? It's latest campaign star, the nonbinary writer, actor, and activist Jacob Tobia, who is looking like a dang treat modeling Fluide's latest lineup. Jacob is the face of the "Uncuffed" collection, a set of three superhot lipsticks that turn your idea of a classic, bold red on its metaphorical head.

The three shades are called Ginger's, Babetown, and Rosemont, and each matte iteration is fiery and attention-grabbing, along with boasting an impressive résumé of being long-lasting, cruelty-free, and made without parabens.

There are many reasons to celebrate the inclusion of Jacob as a model for this up-and-coming label. As Jacob said in a press release sent to POPSUGAR, "For decades, gender nonconforming people have been at the forefront of fashion and beauty culture, and I'm thrilled to be working with a brand like Fluide that is finally beginning to recognize our contributions. As a gender activist, lipstick is one of the most powerful tools I have for creating a more inclusive, shimmering world. In partnership with Fluide, I'm thrilled to have some new shades in my feminist arsenal."
