I've always been passionate about my skin-care routine, but aside from moisturizer, I've generally neglected my body care routine. That is, until I got a little extra time on my hands, and thought it was crazy that I'm fanatical about the products I put on my face but am willing to use pretty much anything on the rest of my body. I've been using my time at home to test out products, and these are the seven I've been loving.
My routine is pretty simple, but it's proven to be effective. I start by dry brushing, which feels indulgent but is actually super helpful in getting rid of dry skin. Then it's a simple six step routine, but setting aside these five minutes for myself has been amazing for my mental health. It's helped me wind down before bed, and plus, my skin has never been softer.
I start out with the Goop G.Tox Ultimate Dry Brush ($20). It's the perfect shape, and it helps make my skin softer. Honestly, I also just like using it.
This Drunk Elephant Kamili Cream Body Cleanser ($20) smells amazing.
This C & The Moon Malibu Made Body Scrub ($64) is so insanely luxurious, but it's worth it. It smells like cake batter, and my skin has never been softer. I'm obsessed with this product.
I need to take care of my skin, and that means my entire body. This Nair Leg Mask Exfoliate & Smooth ($9) is a great option for my dry skin.
This Nécessaire The Body Lotion ($25) is one of the only lotion's I've ever tried that isn't sticky, so I can put my pajamas on immediately.
The last thing I do is make sure my hands are super moisturized, and I love this L'Occitane Hand Cream ($12).
Since I'm not getting a manicure, I'm keeping my cuticles cared for with this Olive & June Cuticle Serum Duo ($30).
