Kim Kardashian's Go-To Makeup Artist Just Launched His Own Beauty Line, and It's Good

The first product Dedivanovic began working on was the Master Mattes. "I wanted to start with an eye collection because when I do makeup, I always start with eyes first," he said.

The 12-pan palette is inspired by skin tones and a makeup technique he's been using for years: "I shape and contour the eyes using, typically, different varying shades of foundation and or concealer to sort of shape and contour the eyes, before I apply eyeshadows on it — sometimes I leave it just with the skin tones."

When it came to nailing down the inspiration for his debut collection, Dedivanovic knew he didn't want his fans to feel cornered into a particular look or definition of beauty when using his products. Instead, he took nods from nature and the universe to create an assortment of products that are versatile and allow the user to run with their imagination.

Similarly to his client Kardashian, Dedivanovic is very into crystals, which is reflected in his makeup line with products like the Master Crystal Reflector and Master Metal Manipulator. "I'm big into crystals and manifestation, and so it just kind of evolved into that and kind of matches my aesthetic," he said.

But don't let the crystal connection fool you — not everything is about glitz and glam. "I know that I have an association I think with very glam makeup, but I also do clients that like very natural looks, and I like natural looks as well," Dedivanovic said. That's why the Master Secret Glow is his favorite product of the line: "I really envisioned this even for the [person] that really doesn't wear any makeup," he said. "You can use it just with mascara and nothing else, and it just gives you this beautiful, alluring glow to the skin."

There's something for everyone in this beauty line, and that was his main goal. "You have such a great selection here, and it sort of allows you to sort of dip and play and use your own judgment and with your own style of makeup," Dedivanovic said.
