Simone Biles's Vibrant Green Eyeliner Has Our Attention

Simone Biles exuded vibrance in her latest cover shoot for "Porter," stunning in a series of colorful outfits with makeup to match. Makeup artist Jessica Smalls-Langston experimented with bright pink blush and bold green liner for the gorgeous snaps, though one particular makeup look didn't make it to the final story. Luckily, on Wednesday, she shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the shoot, offering a glimpse at Biles wearing a take on the banana eyeliner trend the beauty world can't seem to get enough of.

"Sometimes good images get cut . . . thank God for BTS," Smalls-Langston wrote alongside the video, which shows her applying a vivid green Danessa Myricks Colorfix 24-Hour Cream Color ($18) above Biles's crease, creating a floating effect with a thick, curved line. The makeup artist topped off the graphic eye look using a mint-green color to fill in the space between the liner and brow.

Biles is a natural trendsetter when it comes to beauty — remember when she wore floating liner to match her leotard on the mat? — so it's no surprise she tried the latest trend. Lori Harvey and Shay Mitchell are among celebrities who have recently worn the banana liner look, which first gained popularity in the '60s but has seen a strong comeback these past few months. Ahead, get a closer view of Biles's fun eye look.
