We've seen quite a few variations of Catwoman over the years, but none of them are quite like Zoë Kravitz's portrayal of the comic-book character. Kravitz, who stars alongside Robert Pattinson in "The Batman," put a modern twist on the feline femme fatale, and she did it with the help of veteran celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath.

Kravitz's Catwoman is dark, alluring, and dangerous — but also, at times, soft. Her makeup reflects that duality. "Can you imagine what a thrill it was to collaborate with my dearest gorgeous Zoë in creating daringly seductive looks worthy of pop culture's fiercest feline femme fatale, let alone translating the couture-classic cat eye into extreme Gotham glamour?" McGrath tells POPSUGAR.

For the makeup's design, McGrath drew inspiration from her recent Fashion Week shows with Prada and Donatella Versace to create the smoldering, smudged graphic-eye makeup we see on Kravitz in the film. Ahead, get a full breakdown of the products that makeup artist Stacy Wodu used on set.

While the eye makeup is the star of the show, McGrath wanted Kravitz's skin to shine even in the dark Gotham night. Wodu used the Cover Fx Power Play Concealer ($30) to create a soft, minimal base. Then, she used the Sublime Perfection Setting Powder ($38). To accentuate the high points of Kravitz's face, Wodu used the Highlighter + Balm Duo ($48) with the Retrouvé Voyage Revitalizing Eye Concentrate ($215) layered on top of her cheekbones and eyelids for extra shine. She gave Kravitz's cheeks a soft glow with the Skin Fetish: Divine Blush in Desert Orchid ($38).

To achieve the statement eye, Wodu first used the Mothership I: Subliminal Palette ($125). For the edgy-eyeliner moment, she used a combination of three products: the Perma Gel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black ($28); the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner ($32); and a brand-new, never-before-seen product that she swears pulled the entire look together — the Bridgerton II Kohl Liner, which launches on March 24 as part of McGrath's second collection with the TV series. (We wonder if this is the same product used on Pattinson to create his emo-eyeliner moment.)

To finish off the eyes, Wodu used the Dark Star Volumizing Mascara ($30) to create flirty, seductive lashes. The NYX Professional Makeup Precision Eyebrow Pencil ($11), combined with Got2B Schwarzkopf Glued Blasting Freeze Hairspray ($6), was used to create her strong brows.

Finally, PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencil in Contour ($28), a beige-brown liner, was used to define Kravitz's lips, followed by the MatteTrance Lipstick in 1995 ($38).
