The Way Glenn Close Acted When She Saw Lady Gaga at the Oscars Is How I Would've, Too

Glenn Close might not have won an Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday, but she did give us a couple dramatic performances. When Lady Gaga walked by Glenn after winning the Oscar for best original song, Glenn took Lady Gaga's hand and straight-up grazed it across her cheek with her eyes closed — honestly, wouldn't you have done the same? Earlier in the evening, Glenn also made us all laugh when she had the hands-down best reaction to seeing Melissa McCarthy on the red carpet in a gorgeous pantsuit.

The 71-year-old actress was nominated for best actress for her role as Joan Castleman in The Wife, but Olivia Colman took home the big award for her work in The Favourite. Even though we didn't get a would-be iconic speech from Glenn, at least we can appreciate this adorable moment between her and another icon, Lady Gaga.
