Shawn Mendes Hits the Beach Shirtless, and There's Nothing Holding Him Back

Shawn Mendes is currently in the middle of his Illuminate world tour, and on Thursday, the 18-year-old singer took a break from hitting the stage to hit the beach. Clad in a pair of black swim trunks and sunglasses, Shawn stripped off his shirt and bared his rock-hard abs while splashing around in the water. That same day, Shawn also announced that Julia Michaels will be his opening act for his Australia and New Zealand tour dates. As if that wasn't exciting enough, Shawn is also nominated for best pop at this year's MTV VMAs for "Treat You Better." Tune in on Aug. 27 to see if he wins!
