While Stause and G Flip were both in relationships, the pair connected for the first time at a Halloween party in October 2021. In a May 2022 joint sit-down interview on People's "People Everyday" podcast, G Flip revealed, "We met last year at Halloween . . . We were both with our ex-partners then . . . And then, we obviously separated from our partners, and we just started talking and stuff," they explained. "We just found a lot of similarities, even though people would think we are from like different corners of the world. We find ourselves so similar sometimes."

March 2022: Chrishell Stause and G Flip Begin Interacting on Social Media

By 2022, Stause and G Flip were single, and the two started to get to know one another more. On March 18, 2022, Stause posted a photo dump on Instagram, which she captioned, "Round up from most pics that went in stories," and included a picture of her and G Flip among a variety of other pictures. May 6, 2022: Chrishell Stause Reveals She and G Flip Are Dating

On May 6, 2022, the season five reunion of "Selling Sunset" aired on Netflix. Along with some tension-filled moments, Stause revealed that she was officially in a relationship with G Flip. During the reunion, she explained (via People), "I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They're non-binary, so they go by they/them . . . And they are an extremely talented musician."

After the reunion, Stause took to Instagram to further talk about her relationship with G Flip. "Everyone is different but for them, they really feel like they are a mix and they identify on both sides of male, female. So that's one of those things I personally find such a beautiful mix. I think it's probably why we did connect on such a deep level so quickly," Stause shared in the video.

May 12, 2022: Chrishell Stause Stars in G Flip's "Get Me Outta Here" Music Video

Not long after their relationship went public, Stause starred in G Flip's music video for their song "Get Me Outta Here." On the day the video launched, G Flip praised Stause in an Instagram post. "Thank you to sweet @chrishell.stause for being a apart of this, everyone send her all the love in the galaxy ✨," they captioned the post.

September 2022: Chrishell Stause Raves About G Flip For Their Birthday

Throughout 2022, Stause and G Flip frequently interacted on social media and appeared in each other's posts. On G Flip's birthday in September 2022, Stause shared a sweet Instagram post for her partner's special day, which read, in part, "Even though I could list a million things I love about you, your kind genuine heart is my absolute favorite. I feel extremely lucky to be able to celebrate you constantly but especially today."

Dec. 7, 2022: Chrishell Stause Slams the PCAs For Not Letting Her Bring G Flip as Her Plus-One

Stause was none too pleased when she learned the People's Choice Awards allegedly would not allow her to bring a plus-one to the ceremony unless it was another "Selling Sunset" cast member despite her being nominated for best reality star.

"I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later. BUT people's choice didn't allow me to bring my partner to the awards. I could ONLY bring a plus 1 if it was a cast member. Wtf," she wrote about the situation on Twitter. Making matters worse, Stause later discovered the whole "Selling Sunset" cast had been invited to the ceremony regardless. "So wtf was the issue?!" she asked in another tweet.

Stause concluded her tweets, writing, "If you are going to invite the whole cast . . . then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or other wise told I do not get a plus one..??" She added: "I get it — there are WAY bigger issues. But these are the things people normally don't say out loud unless they have multiple correspondence receipts and have had one too many tequilas and dgaf."

March 2023: G Flip Writes "Be Your Man" For Chrishell Stause

"Get Me Outta Here" wasn't the only song of G Flip's to feature Stause. In March 2023, the singer revealed on Instagram that they wrote a new song, titled "Be Your Man," for Stause. The song's lyrics say, "I know how you think and what you like / And what your body needs / Convinced you should run from me / I'm not what you planned / But I'll be your man."

May 2023: Chrishell Stause Announces She and G Flip Are Married

Throughout the entirety of their relationship, Stause and G Flip haven't hidden their love for one another, but fans of the pair were surprised when Stause candidly revealed via Instagram that she and G Flip got married in May 2023. A representative close to the couple told People, "They found love together in an unexpected place but nothing has ever felt more real to them." The pair also got matching tattoos, but their marriage is not legally binding.

August 2023: Chrishell Stause Defends Her Relationship With G-Flip

Even though some of Stause's fans miss her relationship with Oppenheim, the reality TV star appears to be all in on her marriage with G Flip. On Aug. 13, Stause posted a screenshot of an Instagram DM where a fan told her, "Miss you with Jason," which prompted her to defend her and G Flip's romance. "I get these comments all the time on every post, so let me be clear. It's never happening," she wrote atop the fan message, per Page Six. "I met my forever partner with G and we are planning a family & everything happened the way it was supposed to."

Stause continued, "Jason is happy & he is a great friend I will have forever. But the people constantly trying to 'ship' us getting back together are wasting your time."

The "Selling Sunset" star previously clapped back at criticism over her and Flip's relationship in September 2022 when she first revealed their plans to start a family via adoption.
