Load Up on Some Popcorn, Because the Royal Wedding Is Coming to a Theater Near You!

Calling all devoted fans of the royal family! You now have the opportunity to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say "I do" on the big screen while surrounded by dozens of other royals devotees — yes, really! Fathom Events and BritBox (the subscription service from BBC Studios and ITV) have teamed up to offer a commercial-free viewing of the royal wedding in select movie theaters around the US. That means you can admire Meghan's wedding gown in all its glory on a larger-than-life screen. Heck yes!

On May 19, nearly 200 cinemas across the nation will stream Meghan and Harry's highly anticipated nuptials, starting at 10:30 a.m. and lasting for three and a half uninterrupted hours. We suggest loading up a backpack with some coffee and snacks for the early-morning occasion.

This marks the very first time that a royal wedding will be broadcast in US theaters, straight from Windsor Castle in England, so I guess you could say it's a pretty big deal. Check to see if your local movie theater is one of the selected venues by searching your zip code on the Fathom Events website, and if it is, snag those tickets quickly before other royals fanatics in your area snatch them up.
