Michael Gandolfini and His Mom Were the Cutest Pair at the "Extrapolations" Premiere

Celebrities have a long history of bringing their siblings, parents, and loved ones as their dates to red carpet events. On March 14, Michael Gandolfini, 23, kept the tradition alive when he brought his mom, Marcy Wudarski, as his plus one to the Los Angeles premiere of his new AppleTV+ series, "Extrapolations," costarring Meryl Streep, Kit Harington, and Tobey Maguire. Ahead of the premiere, Gandolfini and Wudarski expertly posed for the cameras to the surprise of no one as the mother-son duo has been walking red carpets together for over a decade.

For the young actor — whose father was the late James Gandolfini, best known as Tony Soprano in "The Sopranos" — posing for photographers is nothing new. The mother-son duo made their first notable red carpet appearance at the Film Independent Spirit Awards in 2014. That same year, Michael, who has been acting since he was 12, walked the red carpet with his mom on his way to the afterparty for the premiere of Tom Hardy's crime-thriller "The Drop."

As a child, then-5-year-old Michael also attended the 11th annual Dream Halloween fundraiser for children affected by AIDS with both of his parents by his side in 2004. Three years later in 2007, the trio attended the premiere of "Shrek the Third" in New York City. In 2013, Michael accompanied his mom to the Wounded Warrior Project's Carry Forward Awards in Los Angeles.
