Shannen Doherty Opens Up About Her Battle With Cancer on Netflix's Chelsea

Shannen Doherty is opening up about her battle with cancer during a sit-down with Chelsea Handler. In the first look at Netflix's Chelsea, the actress reveals what she's learned through this emotional process. "I think what's beautiful and hard and interesting about cancer is that it tears you down and builds you, and tears you down and builds you," she says. "It remakes you so many different times." Not only is her story extremely emotional, but Chelsea, whose mother died of breast cancer in 2006, is almost moved to tears. Since her diagnosis in February 2015, Shannen has been very outspoken about her fight by sharing updates on social media and attending various fundraising events.
