Tan France and Husband Rob Are Expecting Baby No. 2: "The Most Incredible Feeling"

Tan France and his husband, Rob France, are expanding their family again! On April 13, the "Queer Eye" star announced on Instagram that the couple are expecting their second child together, who will join their 1-year-old son, Ismail. "Hard to believe it was two years ago today we announced Ismail was on his way! And today— we couldn't be prouder to share that he's going to be a big brother!" France captioned a video clip from "Milk Drunk: The Podcast."

"Becoming dads has been our greatest joy, and we are so excited to grow our family with the help of our wonderful surrogate," he continued. "I'm excited to share more about our journey through surrogacy, becoming dads of two and a few choice words for anyone with opinions on our choices."

People magazine broke the pair's baby news first, with France telling the outlet that he and his husband found out around Christmas that their surrogate was pregnant. "We were over the moon. It was the best feeling ever," he said. "I mean, it felt almost as shocking as the first time. I was overjoyed, in tears, I couldn't believe that it had finally happened again. It was just the most incredible feeling."

France explained that their decision to have another baby stemmed from their desire to give Ismail, who was born via surrogate on July 10, 2021, "someone that will be his person that he's tethered to." He added: "I'm really close with my siblings and my husband is really close with his, so we wanted to create a family where [our child] would have more support other than just Rob and I."

The "Next in Fashion" host also revealed that the couple know the sex of their little one on the way but aren't sharing it with the public just yet. Moreover, they have their baby's name picked out, one that France decided on over a decade ago. "I always knew these two names that I loved the most. And so thankfully, Rob loves them also," he said of Ismail's name and their second child's moniker. "We're on track to call our baby this name."
