Taylor Swift has broken her silence on the leak of the the 2016 Kanye West video, but she's also encouraging fans to focus on other issues instead. Over the weekend, an extended version of her infamous call with the rapper surfaced online, and both Taylor and Kim Kardashian subtly responded to the leak by "liking" certain social media posts. However, Taylor waited a couple of days to fully address the situation on her Instagram Stories.

"Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)... SWIPE UP to see what really matters," she wrote on Monday, directing her fans to the Feeding America website instead. "The World Health Organization and Feeding America are some of the organizations I've been donating to. If you have the ability to, please join me in donating during this crisis."

Taylor is one of many celebrities making contributions during the coronavirus pandemic. Around the same time, Kim also shared clips on her own Story and asked followers to take social distancing seriously. It appears the parties involved would like us all to focus on the global crisis at hand, so let's do that, shall we?
