Big Little Lies fans were in for quite the surprise when photos surfaced of Laura Dern kissing Baron Davis in LA on Dec. 20. But who exactly is this Baron? Where did he come from and what does he do for a living? Well, for starters, he's actually much younger than Laura and has two kids, just like the actress. Read on for more fun facts.

  1. He's 38 years old. Baron was born on April 13, 1979 in LA.
  2. He has two children. Baron is a proud father to 3-year-old son Kingman and nearly 1-year-old son Luke, whom he shares with ex-wife Isabella Brewster.
  3. He is a two-time NBA All-Star. Baron is currently a free agent, but previously played in the NBA for the New Orleans Hornets, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New York Knicks.
  4. He owns a production company. In 2005, Baron formed the movie production company Verso Entertainment with pal Cash Warren. He's also appeared in a handful of films including That's My Boy, Entourage, and Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.
