Watch Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's Special Effects-Filled Video For "I Don't Care"

When I first heard Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's new collaboration, I could already picture the music video in my head. I imagined Bieber and Sheeran walking into some fancy party, feeling totally out of place, and immediately regretting being there. That is, until they meet a couple of girls and they end up having the time of their lives.

Well, apparently, I had it all wrong. On Thursday, Sheeran and Bieber dropped two video teasers for "I Don't Care," and it looks nothing like what I envisioned. In the clips, Sheeran is shown walking around Tokyo in a panda suit, while Bieber is dressed in a cowboy outfit in front of a green screen and then changes into a bear suit.

Now that the video is here, we know the answer: special effects! Lots and lots of special effects. Just like John Mayer did for his meme-ready music video for "New Light," the pair opted to film themselves in front of a green screen for the entirety of the footage. That means we get to see Bieber in an ice cream suit, dancing on a freeway in front of a rainbow (and Sheeran jogging through a colorful cartoon world). What more could you want?

Watch it above, and then take a peek at the trailer for the video, below.
