The Handmaid's Tale Season 3 Trailer

June Delivers a Wake-Up Call in That Heart-Pounding Handmaid's Tale Super Bowl Teaser

We've been in agony ever since the gripping season two finale of Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale. That's due in large part to the fact that we have no idea what's in store for June in the wake of her decision to stay in Gilead. Desperate for information, we cobbled together some details about the season, whatever we could get our greedy hands on, but we wanted more.

Luckily, Hulu revealed a little more information on what's come in the form of an unsettling teaser, which aired during the Super Bowl on Feb. 3. The teaser starts out like an uplifting — albeit a tad too nationalistic — PSA, and then quickly snaps into a heart-pumping wake-up call. Though it moves quickly, the teaser shows Emily running with June's baby, handmaids assembled in front of an, erm, updated Washington Monument, and Serena happening upon a destructive fire — likely started by June, if we had to guess.

The slightly more revealing teaser comes after Hulu released a 10-second teaser earlier in the week, shown below, which gave viewers another massive hint: it seems like our heroine will go undercover as a Martha to get her daughter back.
