The Key Details Revealed by the Orange Is the New Black Season 3 Trailer

At the end of season two, Alex (Laura Prepon) is out of Litchfield, but Piper (Taylor Schilling) makes a call that is presumably going to get her tossed back in. In the trailer, we see Alex questioning Piper about why she's there and sobbing inside the prison walls. While it's clear from this photo that these two still have a bond, the revelation that Piper is responsible for her return is obviously going to be a big source of conflict.

Petty played Lolly, a fellow prisoner being transported with Piper back in the premiere episode of season two, but she's a big part of the new trailer, implying she's playing a new regular character. From the looks of things, she's happy to be at Litchfield but could be an antagonist, since we see her getting punched by Alex in the preview.

At 1:12 of the trailer, Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) is seen out of orange and out of Litchfield! Has she gotten out? How will that play out?

Big Boo (Lea DeLaria) is revealed in the trailer and this picture with a new, feminine makeover — while she could just be having fun with her look, it could also be that she has a hearing or is meeting with someone and is trying to project a different image.

Toward the end of the trailer, Suzanne (Uzo Aduba) is shown comforting Taystee (Danielle Brooks). How close will they get in season three?

Ruby Rose made headlines when she joined the cast, and in the trailer, she's seen winking at Piper, a Litchfield come-on if I've ever seen one. Not only that, when she was cast, it was mentioned that she may be a love interest for both Piper and Alex. Love triangle!

Since Fischer was dismissed last season, it looks like there's a new guard at the prison, seen in the trailer interacting with Suzanne. Will she be as big of a character as Fischer was?
