Pretty Little Liars Is About to Feature an Unexpected First: A Musical Number

When it comes to a wild show like Pretty Little Liars, so many things have come into play over the past six years. The main characters have gone to hell and back, there have been plenty of deaths, and, of course, there's one more supervillian yet to be revealed. With the final season looming on the horizon, it's hard not to ask: what hasn't happened on the show? At ABC's PLL panel during the Television Critics' Association Winter press tour, one journalist asked exactly that, and it turns out there's something very unexpected that we have yet to see: a musical number.

Here's what's even more unexpected: it seems we're going to watch the girls belt it out before the show's series finale. "I was able to get a musical number in the last 10 episodes," director Oliver Goldstick revealed. "A lot of you do know this because you follow [the main stars] now, but all of them have incredible different talents, and singing happens to be one of them. And I thought it was a shame that we didn't utilize that. And we found a way to [feature] it in one of the episodes in the last 10. So you'll have a musical number." We're already getting dizzy imagining the choreography.
