Another Life: The Trailer For Netflix's New Sci-Fi Series Is Wildly Stressful

Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff is returning to space in Netflix's Another Life this July, and it doesn't look like it'll be a walk in the park.

The upcoming space drama stars Sackhoff as Commander Niko Breckinridge, who is tasked with leading humanity's first — and wildly dangerous — interstellar mission to a new planet. Meanwhile, her husband (Shameless star Justin Chatwin) attempts to make contact with a mysterious presence back on Earth. The series appears to weave in themes about the miracle of life and just how far we'll go to protect it, but judging from the first teaser, it also seems like it'll leave us with nightmares.

Considering the streaming giant has also freaked us the f*ck out with journeys to space and the future in I Am Mother and Lost in Space, we'll be watching this with the lights on. Check out the first teaser for the series above before it arrives on Netflix on July 25.
